So much speculation on the Doctor's final fate.

I reminded myself that in the previous season, the Doctor came back after being unwritten from existence. I personally think it's ridiculous that a little thing like being killed and his body incinerated will stop the Doctor now.

Well as I proposed in the other thread, Moffat has established that time can be rewritten and I believe that the Doctor's plan is to make sure the events that result in him getting shot during his regeneration cycle don't happen.

I agree. My personal theory is that he'll still get shot, but only twice.

Well it's fairly obvious he'll live, after all the show would be over without him. And I bet they'll get around the 12 regenerations limit as well.

The 12 regenerations limit was pretty much tossed out last year, IIRC...
