As you all know, in this episode, our Ben Sisko sleeps with mirror-Jadzia.

I kind of wonder why there was never any aftermath from this in the regular DS9 universe. Even a short line about it would have been interesting. The aforementioned scene showed that Sisko found Jadzia to be very attractive and one can assume that he was bottling it up because she was the Old Man.

Eh... Jadzia wasn't Dax in the mirror universe.

Actually, she was. She was referred to as 'Dax' once in dialogue, and consistently in the script.

Ezri wasn't Dax, though. As I recall, Sisko slept with Jadzia because the Sisko he was replacing had a relationship with Jadzia... and he didn't want to break his cover.

Speaking of Through The Looking Glass, I always burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter when M-Garak shouts, "Pursuuuuuuuuuue!!"

The interesting point that needed to be followed up on was not that he was attracted to Dax.

The interesting point that needed to be followed up on, was that violated her under false pretenses, and what he did was somewhat akin to rape.

But since he's the Sisko stuff like that gets conveniently swept under the rug. Also like poisoning the Maquis planets, his actions in ITPM did etc.etc.
