I dont even bother to listen to the weather anymore because it is mostly wrong. Rain was predicted for today and so far I havent seen a drop.

A couple of weeks ago it said we were going to have a beautiful day on a Saturday, but it ended up snowing on Saturday.

My week's forecast: High/Low (Imperial Units)

Currently: 72 - Cloudy, looming storms.
Monday: 75/52 - Scattered strong storms.
Tuesday: 60/36 - Morning Showers
Wednesday: 59/42 - Mostly Sunny
Thursday: 60/44 - Mostly Cloudy
Friday: 52/39 - Showers
Saturday: 45/36 Rain/Snow Showers
Sunday: 56/41 - Partly Cloudy
 
Saturday morning they said it would be 54 and mostly sunny, with a breeze. It was cloudy, WINDY, and 45 to maybe 49 tops.

I think I know my new job, weather asshole! Just pull things out of your ass and say them on TV like you are god. Then when you get the info wrong brag about how you got it correct!

Sounds pretty close to ours in New England. Could use a little of that fanciful global warming about now.

Weather predicting is a fastly changing game and is a matter of finding a forecaster who is always looking at the latest models and data. the forecast they give at 6am relly can change by the noon brodcast and the forecaster may not know that unless he's keeping his info up to date and doing the work of calculating the models and crunching the numbers.

It's also important to, as a viewer, to always see or watch the most up-to-date forecast you can. Don't watch the 10pm newscast and fully expect it to hit tomorrow 100% on the nose -especailly if there's storm predictions. I, personally, never read the newspaper's weather section because it's information that'll be hours and hours old by the time it lands on my doorstep.

So find a news station that is the most consistantly right with an ethusastic and dedicated meteoroligist -not some pretty "weather reader" girl- and try and to watch or listen to the most recent weather cast you can.

I just spent some time in Athens and I got soaking wet there which hasn't happened to me in years. If it rains there, it really pours. And it's not that much warmer than here. So, we have to just hang in there a while longer...

Sounds like Oregon for at least another month or two.
 
We have been recieving a lot of rain in Hobart over the last two months or so but, after years of drought, we don't mind at all. It rained most of the weekend.

There won't be that much rain during this week according to the forecast.{metric units]

Forecast for Monday : Cloudy with the chance of a little drizzle about the mountain. Light to moderate southerly winds. Mainly fine. Max 17

Forecast for Tuesday : Cloudy at first but fine, with light northeast winds. Min 12 Max 18

Wednesday - Mostly fine. Min 12 Max 21
Thursday - Showers later, becoming windy. Min 12 Max 21
Friday - Becoming fine. Min 10 Max 19
Saturday- Fine. Min 12 Max 22
Sunday - Mainly fine. Min 11 Max 18

I don't bother looking at the weather anymore simply because the BBC have absolutely ruined their weather website. :(

Pretty much the same where I live (it's more windy though), but anything above 10° is pretty good for this time of the year imo.
 
Well, I don't mind the temperatures but this grey rain weather can be a bit depressing. My flat doesn't get a lot of sun light anyway (groundfloor with windows to an inner courtyard) so I have to switch on the lights here at around 3 p.m at the moment.
