You know, sometimes there just stuff in there that you cannot get out no matter how much you blow and what other option you have. Now, I realize that many see this as a disgusting habit but I have a condition.

I only pick it with a swab. Nor do I "eat" what I find in there.

Is this while you're working behind the deli counter? If so, I believe I've found the reason some of your customers are "assholes"

A bit of advice:

Drink water. It will eventually help moisten and lubricate what may be dry mucous membranes in your nasal passages by increasing mucus production, and ease the passage of detritus when you blow your nose.

It's not any specific medical advice, but it helps me.
