Snow Leopard - Quicktime 7 as default?

How do I make Quicktime 7 the default media player on Snow Leopard over Quicktime X?

There's no Pro option for X and I need that for my work, and don't really want to have to choose open with each time.

Interesting though, while I can't see any option for export, there is a menu option for show export progress...

As I understand it, Quicktime X is a ground-up rewrite to remove legacy code and basically clean the whole thing up. However, this also means that, for now, Quicktime X doesn't have quite as many features as QT 7 did.

Therefore, Quicktime X transparently decides for each and every operation whether to use its own method, or it perform it "under the hood" via QT7.

I don't know what the practical upshot is in regard to getting QT Pro features in X. I just thought I'd point out that QT7 *is* in there somewhere.

Never mind, found it.
