Just saw last night's Craig Ferguson show and was suprised to see Matt Smith as guest. Usually I know in advance. Oh, Matt wears a bowler now.....

carey mulligan was on last night, and they started talking about matt. craig remembered that carey had been on dr. who in the past, so he must have seen her in Blink.

Ah hell - there was no prepublicity on this one at all. They must have snagged him while he was in town for the Scream Awards.

(Note to self: keep an eye on Ferguson any time a Who actor visits LA! Circle calendar in February 2012 when the big Los Angeles Who convention is held...)

That's exactly what happened. It wasn't announced until about two o'clock Monday afternoon that Smith was going to be on the show that night.

I liked that Smith mentioned that he's lobbying for Craig Ferguson to appear on Who. I tried to get the hashtag #CraigyFergOnWho trending, but no one picked up the bait. Ferguson should play Albert Einstein, and he and the Doctor have a madcap adventure. That would be awesome!
