Ok, without naming names, I got sick of having to wade through 10 pages of unfunny riffing, to get to the actual episode discussion.
I also have a perfectly rational hatred of the word "douche" and its variations. It's the most idiotic word to ever come out of the colonies, and it is used an inordinate amount of times by certain people in the Smallville threads.
The only one creating an issue here is you. I'm allowed to say I don't find Trekker's riffing funny.
Of course you're allowed to say that, but it it can be done less caustically and does not need to be done so often.
But Trekker4747 et al ... he does have a point. The Smallville threads are being filled with a great deal of chaff and off-topic focus "jokes". You all need to do your part as well, okay?
Maybe in the episode threads yes. Both hiatus threads were created for all purpose discussion, news, ranting and venting. It's true we have tended to ramble on in the episode thread. All the jokes are mostly on topic and related to Smallville so I would have to disagree there, are they in good taste? Maybe not but then no mod has ever told us or warned us otherwise what to say or not say.
Not wanting to get bogged down in an argument over this, but I only said it once before you chimed in and drew more attention to it, so I don't know where you're getting "does not need to be done so often" from.
The same is true of the way you Brits use "twat," but I've learned to adapt and appreciate.

As in right now, though only temporarily. That is so everyone can take a breath, and get re-focused on the subject of Rosenbaum's return..... as well as leaving out the off-topic sidebars.
After thinking this over, rather than re-opening this thread let's simply direct the discussion to the Winter hiatus thread, which some folks have already mentioned.
