Greetings, DP! Yeah, it does indeed look a filler ep, or Smallville Lite, though the scenario might be a bit of a challenge for Mr. Welling and his three trademark facial expressions.

Wow, a Valentines day episode. What a waste...
Well, this ep was actually supposed to have aired last week, but got pushed back because of the Haiti telethon. And last weeks ep, in which Chloe almost became Mrs. Robinson, was scheduled for the week prior to 'Absolute Justice'.
Tom Welling has THREE facial expressions?!

Actually, I think that Porthos had a wider range of facial expressions than Welling or Bakula combined.
I think what Enterprise really need was some plucky, stars-in-the-eyes, spaceborn junior officer as their navigator.
Good thing Clark has shoulders made of steel.
I wasn't watching the screen very closely and when I looked up it looked like Lana blew fairy dust on Clark and Lois.
