Is this the third or fourth notable thread "people" have started in the last 8 months since the first trickle of a germ suggested that this might be happening well before season 8 came to our screens?
I take it that Bush wants to say ttfn?

I thought Bush was only getting time on the major networks and news outlets, not the CW. Well, he should be long asleep here on the west coast by the time Smallville airs here. So I should be safe at least.

Clark's first (conscious) flight shouldn't be done via a Legion Flight Ring. Well, IMO anyway. It would be dumb.
I'm curious as to how they'll handle the Legion's ridiculous names. I mean, come on.
Saturn Girl: "Hello, I'm Saturn Girl. And this is Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy."
Clark: "There's no way I can rag on Oliver for his hero name choices after this..."
BTW, can I just rate this SUPER now? It's not like it will be any different after this airs.

Well, I was being facetious, but I'm still pretty sure I'l really enjoy it, even if it's not quite SUPER quality.
And it took me a minute you figure out you were talking about the movie based on the British TV show, and not the comic.

They could just use their real first names of Imra, Garth and Rokk.

They're using their real names according to the episode summary I've seen on Smallville Wiki. They have Smallvilleize Legion costumes as the pics have shown which I dig a lot. I've been looking forward to this episode, Geoff should do a great job with it. I even went and bought his Legion of Superheros arc of Action Comics because he's mentioned that some of that crept into the episode. Apprently there are a ton of geek moments in this episodes!
To be honest, I'm not overly familiar with the background and history of the Legion, so I suspect I'll probably enjoy this since I don't have a lot of preconceived notions.
On a side note, I'm really looking forward to seeing Super-Evil Chloe!
