The flash forward does bring up and interesting point: About the only thing this Supes will have to do is save wayward biplanes and rescue kittens from tress because he'll have thwarted his entire rogues' gallery before he even becomes Superman.

Heheh. Seriously. When Zod shows up, Clark's gonna be all like "Oh. You again. Punch me twenty straight times and then I'll use deus ex machina to defeat you."

Has Parasite showed up yet? I can't remember now...let's see who has showed up:

-Lex Luthor (dur)
-Brainiac
-Toyman
-Zod (twice, one real one clone)
-Vandal Savage (Dean Cain must return again)
-Bizarro (almost forgot him, Phantom Zone version)
-Doomsday (another one I almost forgot)
-Maxima (she needs to return again too :)

Am I missing anyone?

Yes, in the 8th season episode "Injustice".

As far as DC villains:

Amanda Waller
Bruno Manheim
Icicle
Livewire
Maxwell Lord
Metallo
Morgan Edge
Mxyzptlk
Neutron
The Persuader
Plastique
Roulette
Silver Banshee

Ah yeah I forgot about "Injustice" he was indeed there...I was just meaning on focusing on Superman's rouge gallery not other DCU villains or antagonists that have appeared on the show but that's a good list. I forgot Morgan Edge, Metallo, and Mxy (he needs to come back he's been stuck in Project 33.1 for a long time now)

Shouldn't it be ROUGES'? There's more than one.

Another thing I was thinking is I wonder if they'll somehow propel the chronology of the story forward a year. Lois did mention the 2012 thing, and the writers may feel opportunistic and take advantage of it--assuming, of course, Darkseid/Apokolips is indeed next season's offering.

@The Dagman I just realized that my reply may have sounded...harsh it wasn't meant to be I was thankful you pointed out my error I hadn't realized I spelled it wrong :)

The Rouge/Rogue mistake will never die. L. Sprague De Camp's novel, ROGUE QUEEN, was once mistakenly published as ROUGE QUEEN--and the X-Men character gets her name misspelled all time.

When Tor published CONAN THE ROGUE years ago, I constantly double-checked the cover mechanicals to make sure they didn't end up saying CONAN THE ROUGE . . . which is just a horrifying image!

:guffaw:

CONAN THE ROUGE, the Transgendered Barbarian!

I just thought this was hilarious. Heard it in a "24" thread

Smallville is the tv equivalent of a bj from a girl who doesnt know what she is doing...there is a promise of release but thats all it is...a promise. No one watches the show for whats going on...its the promise of whats going to happen...Is Clark finally going to get with Lana? Is Clark finally going to get with Cloie??? Is Clark going to fly????? Is he going to become Superman????
I quit when I developed Smallville Blueballs

The thing is I think that Smallville would be a much more consistent and mature show say if it were on CBS or NBC...the ultimate would be on HBO but because it's on CW it has to reach their target demographic and thus the reason for all the silly soap opera stuff we've had to endure with every relationship they've tried to portrayed. It's geared to the teenage demographic not mature adults (or immature as some of us are ;) and this is another aspect that pisses me off. It's never really grown up.
