Smallest known dinosaur possibly discovered

A loaf of bread is unknown unit of measurement to me, but according to the image in the article this one should have been 40 cm long. The shortest confirmed dinosaur (Epidexipteryx) is 25 cm, so it's smaller if the image is correct... Anyway, according to Wikipedia, the dinosaur in the article you've given is expected to be between 17 cm and 40 cm long, so it has some chance of being smaller than Epidexipteryx. The article says it's 200 g in mass (I'm not sure how they got that from a single vertebrae), and Anchiornis is 110 g, so it's not the lightest. :)

On further reading though, Epidexipteryx is 25 cm without the tail feathers, and 45 cm with them, and this one is 25 cm on the picture without the tail.
