Mini-Me robots now available

Did nothing happen in the world yesterday? I know the Monday papers are always vapid because of slow Sundays, but man!

(actually, I'd really like one of those Mini-Me robots, so I can send it into work on my behalf and see if anyone notices.)

It's a pity journalists do not simply get a day off when there's no news.,, Rather than cutting down trees to print nonsense no one cares about.

This is important stuff, dammit. The world must know, and the fact people buy this sh... these informative papers proves it.

I see you were after the Ice Cold In Alex DVD then, Holdfast... :bolian: ;)

... but seriously, this is like the third thread today to link to the Daily Mail. Is there something in the water today? Or does everyone just want the DVD in order to see the lovely Sylvia Syms at her best? :adore:

(Not that I have anything against the Daily Mail of course. In these uncertain times of supply shortages, it remains a vital asset for the modern young Briton to keep handy in case of emergencies, such as spillages... and running out of toilet paper... and, erm, that's it. :bolian:)

Make love, not war.

I've had enough Ice Cold recently to last me a long while yet.

Nah. I followed a link to a Mail article in a different thread and was taken by the sheer inaninity of all the "top stories" in the side menu. Viral spread...

I'm a Times & Sun man usually. Murdoch FTW. ;)

Oh no, you're a middle-Englander? :p

The deadly glowing green comet story is fascinating. I looked at it right after checking out the girl in the miniskirt.

And you could dress it real nice. :) But think that then you'd be spending twice as long each morning browsing through your wardrobe, deciding what you're both going to wear. Neither of you would have time for work. ;)

That's funny because I was reading the Mail yesterday as well (can't recall why, though. Did someone link to one of those stories here yesterday?), and had the exact same reaction to it that you did... yet still browsed through all of those articles.

Someone linked to another story in it in another thread, yes.

And The Daily Mail is hypnotically addictive in its dearth of quality news, yes. :D

Nah, the one famous for that is The Sun.

(as noted above, one of the papers I sometimes read. No correlation.....)
