The BBC have confirmed it will air in October, with reliable sources saying it'll be from Thursday the 16th.

Great. I'm looking forward to it.
According to the Doctor Who News Page it's Thursday the 15th.
I'd take the exact date with a grain of salt (some rumours were kicking around about Sept. 28 a couple weeks back) but it's good to have a target date. With the DVD release for Season 2, it made sense. And evidently CBBC isn't so concerned about "counter programming" so unlike the BBC we're actually finding out a month or so in advance.
Now if only we got a North American broadcast date. Otherwise those of us who don't use "alternate methods" will probably have to wait till the fall of 2010 before seeing any of these episodes on DVD.

its a good job the Blathereen never featured in a book called "The Monsters Inside" oh no hang on they did, and I do not recall them being orange.

this is true, im going to have to read it again, but im sure Rose would have found it out that they were not green and mentioned it.Well, I don't recall anything about them specifically being the same colour as Slitheen. It could be like we have on Earth, these creatures have different skin colours. Personally I'd find that realistic enough.
