Acclaimed stage and screen actor Sir Patrick Stewart will serve as grand marshal for the Verizon IndyCar Series race on April 19 at the 41st Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

My two loves crossing over. I might need CPR when he gives the command to start engines. Instead of saying "Start your engines!" I'm hoping he says "Engage" or "Make it so!"

This weekend is full of good racing, GP2 is starting, F1 as always and now Captain Picard running Indy.

As much as I dislike Nemesis, if he could drive around the track a couple times in that dune buggy, I'd be so happy.

There's something very strange about a British guy hosting a French-named competition that's being held in the United States and sponsored by a Japanese car company . But I'll figure it out eventually.
