Sins of a Solar Empire expansion, anyone playing it?

Noticed that the micro-expansion for Sins is out, wondered if anyone here is playing it and what they think of it.

It's fantastic. It introduces several elements that completely change the tactical aspect of the game. With the new starbases, minefields, and upgrades to the weapon platforms, expect massive battles.

A couple of days ago Amazon had the Sins of a Solar Empire Collector's Edition for only $20 so I finally ordered it. I've been thinking about buying this game for a long time and I figured it was finally time to jump in.
