Silly Little Season 3 Thoughts...

I've almost finished season 3 for the second time and just wanted to say how much I can't stand Juliet! That smug face and the way she blinks so slowly before she sarcastically chastises someone GGRRR!!
Sorry, anyway, I was thinking that Sawyer was nuts to drink Roger's beer that I guess was from 1992 (as it was Purge time) but maybe the island also has the strange ability to preserve food...as they also keep the pantry on the beach ( Charlie checked some pre-opened jam just by sniffing it and it seemed OK) of a tropical island. Do you think that's a hint to the island's properties or am I readin way too much into it?

Beer retains the alcohol, even though it tastes bad, and there were new food drops.

We know the Island has magical healing effects (Locke, Rose) so it could preserve food. As for Juliet, I love Juliet! She's one of the reasons Season Three is my favorite. A fascinating character well played by the actress. I love that evil little Cheshire smile!

There were food drops to the Island that provided new food, I am guessing a lot of it was sealed up and able to last years anyway, I imagine the DI made sure to select foods that could last.

I think my thoughts about Juliet are a matter of record by this point I love Season 3!

Also, unless I'm wrong, beer that's sealed up properly will go rancid beyond the point of drinking in that amount of time, but there's still booze to be had in there. Guess Sawyer was really hard up for a luke-warm one. Can't say I blame him.

Yes, another Juliet hater! Finally I am not alone. I dislike her facial expressions as well, they are very irritating and make her look emotionless. I think the actress is horrible, she seems to have only one facial expression and tone of voice.


Unfortunately, pretty much no one else agrees with us. The males in the forum seem to like her solely because she is a female with blonde hair. Personally I don't think she's attractive at all. For a hot blonde see Claire.

They are totally different in their hotness. Both are hot blonds, but Juliet is more bitchy hot, and Claire is more unassuming hot. They look different as well. Juliet looks like the hot secretary that works for the boss so she treats everyone like garbage, and Claire looks like the hot chick at the grocery store, nice, friendly and approachable.

Juliet looks like she could be Ralph Fiennes' sister. Her face seems like it would be better in some 18th/19th century costume drama. Her facial expressions, as Spot's Meow pointed out, would signify her as the evil step-mother type.

But anyway, Juliet is great - one of my favorite characters in fact, and my absolute favorite female character. I still don't understand all of her actions during the Jack/Sawyer/Kate incarceration at the beginning of season 3, but once she got to the the beach camp, I've liked her more all the time.

Juliette is one of those quietly competent types, which is something that's always refreshing. She knows which way is up and she gets the job done. Sometimes she's even nice about it.
