This rare featurette was originally exclusively available for a limited time through CinemaNow in 480p to American Best Buy customers and through startrek.de in 1080p to Germans, Austrians, and Swiss who bought the first season of Enterprise on Blu-ray in 2013. Before its closure, CinemaNow subsequently made it free to the general public in 2016, along with the TNG featurette "The Trek Not Taken."

Such a good episode - Trip and Reed were always a good combo, largely thanks to this episode. When they were stuck on the Romulan ship later on, you could sense the camaraderie between them that Shuttlepod One kicked off.

I'm suuuper envious of that fan who has the original shuttlepod set - that thing was fantastic!

I'd completely forgotten the episode. This makes me want to dig out the off-air tape, and "see it again for the first time."

I liked this episode because it did something that was disappointingly rare in ENT, showing some conflict between cultures of people from different nations. United Earth is a relatively new organization by 2151.
