Should there still be a future for Titan?

I have some catching up to do but personally, after book #2 it went to hell and apparently has just been going farther down :( I have had many issues with what has been done with Titan and things have just gotten sad. if it continues, it needs to find the magic it once had.

There have been some (very) good Titan novels as well. Orion's Hounds is a prime example of a very good Trek novel, and I personally loved Synthesis as well. Under A Torrent Sea is also a good read, although in my opinion not as good as Orion's Hounds, by the same author. Sword Of Damaclos was odd at times, but had a great concept and a very decent delivery at the end.

Over A Torrent Sea I found just got bogged down with unnecessary details.

Sword of Damocles was so-so.

Orion's Hounds was an excellent book and should have set the template for Titan. A lone ship, far from home. Not because it's lost and trying to find it's way but because it wants to be there. To explore.

Sadly, since Destiny that feeling of Titan being far out there has been lost. "Hey look, it's the Gorn! What are they doing here?" We get so few Titan novels that anything familiar they encounter takes away from the idea that they're in unexplored space.
