The "Trill" man she loved who became a woman.
Yeah, there should've been a kiss. A hot, long, loving kiss.
The female trill was very attractive.
She should've stayed for a few episodes and they should've had a love affair. Yeah...
That was one of my all time favorite DR CRUSHER episodes! Back in the 1990s I knew people who had access to McFadden and one story I was told is that!!!!!!
IT was planned for the female Trill to give Crusher a kiss BUT GATES DIDNT WANT TO so It didnt happen
except on the hand which is what McFadden allowed!
It wasnt until Terry Farrell DAX gave her former Trill lover a kiss on DS9 that we seen what should have happen with the Doctor?????
I remember a comic where Beverly and Kareel had to save the ship when a trill using Picard body took over the ship!

I think that whole plot was just plain messed up. Why would Troi fall in love with some random guy who was rescued off a planet and put into sick bay. If it was a girl I wouldn't. No matter how close to me she got I wouldn't fall in love with her like Troi until I totally knew her. Troi was an idiot for loving him.

And as strange as it was that she fell in love with him, sometimes you do make a connection with another person so it really isn't that far fetched.
Besides, she "did it" with Riker!

I read that McFadden didn't like the ending, and felt it was bigoted.
