Should the next Trek TV series recycle nuEnterprise sets?

Should the next Trek TV series recycle the Star Trek XI, XII, (XIII)'s nuEnterprise bridge, U.S.S. Kelvin, both ships corridors, and the Kobayashi Maru scenario starship's bridge [at Starfleet Academy]?

I thought of this poll after seeing this posting:

when the film trilogy is done, recycling the movie sets (just as TNG did with the old TMP ones)

IMO, it's like a messy divorce in which CBS got custody of Trek, but Paramount was awarded visitation rights...

It would depend on a lot of things, really, is the show set in the same timeline/universe? Is the starring ship the Enterprise or a sister ship Constitution-class? If so, then, yeah sure, but if the answer is "no" to either of those questions, then probably not.

Personally, I would love to see either a different class, or a new ship rather then just the Enterprise (as much as I love the name and crew).

save the small stuff, otherwise it costs too much to hang on to sets for years at a time.everything else? its nothing more than plywood, bondo and paint

Ok not to be negative but...the movie is so ridiculously camp. It's like working in an Apple store.

What I liked about the movie was the new effect of the ship at warp, because it felt like there was actually some tremendous/horrible propulsion at work, and the thump noise that the transporter made when it started up.

Kelvin had real potential but having a show on her would be a like having a reality show based on an abandoned oil platform. It was dark, oxidized and greasy. Which worked because it gave the impression it needed to in a short period of time, but in reality if the ship looked like anything it'd be clean and well painted like a carrier. Which begs the question, was Narada the mining ship or was the Kelvin?

It would have to be. Pine and Quinto aren't going to do a TV series.
