Is Shore Leave still a big event for Trek novels? I know it used to be the "main" event and would feature most of the authors as well as serve as the big reveals of the next publishing cycle.

I was wondering if any of that still occurs.

The big announcements at Shore Leave are no longer being done (and really, with the way automated database updating is revealing new titles well in advance anyway, it's kind of moot these days). But plenty of novelists still attend as guests and panelists, and the Meet the Pros signing event is still around. Here's the current author guest list for this August's convention:
