Found this interesting article:
Shipwreck hunters stumble across mysterious find.

Says it's 60 meters in diameter, with a "tail" that's 400 meters long, 80 meters beneath the surface. They found a second cylindrical object about 200 meters away from the first one. Whatever it is, it's pretty damn big.

Very cool stuff... I wonder if it will still be there when they go back to check it out.

Huh...that is quite interesting actually.

Someone get the crew from "Sphere" down there, pronto.

Damn, they found my timeship and my underwater base. I'm moving them to the previous decade. Hope they don't find me there. That's goodbye guys.

Great, they're finding the pips. My theories are correct, the Earth is made out of Lego!

It's the separated saucer section of the big E! :rommie:

Kinda looks like an old-school Cylon Raider to me, actually.

At the end of the day, it's probably something man-made, but nobody seems to have any idea of what kind of man-made object could produce such an echo like that. It could easily be a really big storage tank stuck in the mud, with most of it out of view - but what's with the 400 meter "tail" that's said to be attached to it? That one kind of befuddles me.

Using side-scan sonar, the team found a 60-meter diameter cylinder-shaped object

damnit, that whale probe left it's child here...

someone make sure some whales are in the vicinity just to be on the safe side...

The "tail" is a drag mark in the sea bottom, not a physical structure.

And it turns out that this is old news, from the summer. Wonder why CNN is apparently just reporting it now.

Because it took them several months to lift the alien space ship and replace it with something man made.. d'uh!

It's the government.. everything takes a bit longer.
