This is NOT a contest about power...but a contest as to which ship is more pleasing to your eyes. Meaning, it doesn't matter how fast it goes, or how many phasers it can fire, or whatever, just which one is more appealing to you...

last week the Star Destroyer of Star Wars won its contest against the nuBSG.....

This week its a rematch of STAR WARS vs BATTLESTAR GALACTICA again.....they love to brawl, don't they???

I went with the Viper as well. Never cared much for the TIE Figther, though it is cool in its own way. As for BR? Yeah, it was a cool ship. And I read that it was the original design for the Viper. But I think the Viper is just, well, cooler to watch as it flys solo or in formation with other vipers....

Tie Fighter, but I'm including all the types from the T.I.E fighter to the TIE Defender. I think a TIE can take a Old series Viper in a battle.
Also I really do not like the OBSG. ( Except for Count Baltar)

Beauty in my mind is always tied up with practicality and functionality. That is why I'm voting for the Viper. The Tie Fighter due to its awkward design obviously needs specialized equipment to land and take off, and is at a disadvantage in any sort of atmosphere.

The Viper on the other hand can launch from a barren patch of dirt somewhere, it has some atmospheric capabilities, and it just plain looks better.

WELL DUUHHH! as far as I know TIE pilots are clones, so I am pretty darn sure the mighty EMPIRE see's them all as EXPENDABLE!

I vote for the TIE, it was an original. The Viper seemed a little bland, OK looking but not too distinctive. The TIE seemed like a brutally economical war machine, stripped of everything but the bare essentials for killing.
