I'm especially interested in seeing how the Millennium Falcon and Serenity fare going head-to-head. (I still can't believe Serenity got more "Awesome" votes in the individual polls...)

But if you had swapped those two and made it Enterprise vs. the Millennium Falcon, and Serenity vs. BSG78 then you would have had a fight. But I'm guessing we'll have to wait for the final four for the former and the latter with be footnotes.

That's not how you seed a tournament.

Actually, I really wanted to settle two arguments. One was Serenity/Falcon, but the other was Galactica vs. Galactica, but the way I seeded the ships for the first round that could only happen if they both fought their way out of the preliminaries.

All the other matchups have between 12 and 14 votes cast. Strangely, not a single matchup actually has 15 votes!

Look, all I know is the Falcon finished its individual poll with 28 Awesome votes and Serenity finished with 40. If everybody who voted then were voting now you'd think Serenity would be winning, or at least tying (since Falcon's poll was time-limited and Serenity's wasn't.). That's why I wanted them matched up.

But Serenity is getting spanked. Not that I'm complaining (Falcon has hyperdrive, shields and guns. It's obviously more awesome.), I'd just like to know where those forty people got to in the intervening weeks.

^ But I'm not really sure that follows. Technically, all 40 of those people who voted 'awesome' for Serenity could have still preferred the Falcon in a head-to-head contest. Perhaps the twelve extra people just weren't on the board the week the Falcon contest was up, or something.

Well, 39 anyway. I voted 'awesome' in the Serenity poll AND voted for Serenity here too.
