Ship Classes for a Trek RPG

Hi folks,

I was working on creating a wiki for a sim where we're going to use a lot of non-canon ships for each era. For example, in the TOS era, I added in the Saladin, Hermes, Anton/Miranda, TOS-style Kelvin, Loknar, etc. For the Movie era, I added the Miranda, Excelsior, Excelsior study models as individual classes and the Bozeman study model.

For TNG-VOY (2363-2379) I'm going to add some classes, but haven't begun doing so at the moment. I plan on adding Galaxy, Nebula, Sovereign, Cheyenne, Springfield, New Orleans, and several more options.

I'm just wondering if you might be able to show me a good list or add on as comments, some 24th century ship designs that would be good for using in an RPG environment, or even TOS/Movie era designs that would be great to have as options for sim players.

Any guidance / replies with new ship designs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

IMHO the on-screen version is far superior. Though if you liked the Probert design then you could integrate it into the fleet as well just called something else.

So far, the Sabre, Norway, Cheyenne, and Springfield are up. My plan is to have a ship list for each era, then have a ship page with more detailed info, deck plans (where available), and ship interiors to help with writing

Hey! I‘m a little confused, to be honest. What‘s the relevance for Fan Art with this one?

I was asking for some 24th century fan art ships to be used in a non-canon Trek sim. I thought this was the best place for it, but I could be wrong.

For example, are there:
TOS-style, Movie-Ent-style, Excelsior-style, Ambassador-style, Galaxy-style, and/or Sovereign style versions of:

USS Centaur (originally an Excelsior saucer and two underslung nacelles)
Miranda/Lantree/Soyuz/Saratoga/Antares types
Preliminary Miranda class
Peregrine (Miranda with upswept wings/pylons)
Constellation (saucer, thicker with shuttle/cargo bays around, 4 nacelles)
Durrett Class
Nebula
Wilkerson
Loknar
Larson
Remora
Chandley
Kiev
Nelson
Derf
Ptolemy Transport (Bradford fills the Movie-era role)
Antares from DS9 (Miranda, minus rollbar, plus triangle pod on top)
Federation-Class Dreadnaught
Galaxy Dreadnaught (so, imagine a Sovereign with 3 nacelles, ventral phaser cannon, mega-phaser wings and dual photorp launcher dorsal saucer-side, little fins on the outer warp pylons, etc., then the same for Ambassador, Excelsior, etc.)
Constitution-Variant from DS9 (saucer, dorsal, two nacelles upside-down on that)

Ah, okay. I think I get it now. I don't think if it's the “best place” on the board to ask for something like this, but I have no idea what could be a better fit.

I guess it goes without saying, but if you end up using fan-created ships for this RPG wiki, just make sure to credit the creators. Thank you! :)
