She's BACK!-Rapunzel of TANGLED to get ACTION SHORT film!

The directors of TANGLED are currently creating an original movie for DISNEY and have revealed they will also be returning to the world of TANGLED with a NEW animated SHORT. (credit to djklink2009 of Deviant art for this great Rapunzel Jedi)

Good news about the short. Though the directors don't know about how/when it will be released, I'm assuming it'll precede some other Disney flick. I would have preferred another full-length film, whether theatrically or DTV, but I guess we'll take what we can get, eh?

On a side note, the Tron Legacy spoof poster on the linked page, featuring Eugene & Rapunzel, is pretty cool.

Yeah, you're probably right-I wasn't even thinking about that as I was so excited to hear that the TANGLED crew is coming back in some form.

It will probably be in front of a Disney flick as you theorize but this shows Disney knows the viablility of these characters so I wouldn't rule out another big screen adventure though it could take several years.
