Shatner-Spears love connection

It turns out the critical path is thru Pamela Anderson, with a secondary path via Alyssa Milano.

This relies on William Shatner having had an affair with Heather Locklear, which is reported at nndb however I have been unable to substantiate.

So questions are:

• Is anybody able to substantiate the purported affair between the Shat and Locklear?
• If not, are there any other paths from Shatner to Spears?

In case anybody thinks this is OT: This exercise of deductive logic involving Shatner should qualify as Trek discussion.
