Shakespeare in LOVE

William Shakepeare's material is well represented in TREK. There are quotes of his in the series, some of the movies...so..

Did every series, TOS TNG DS9 VOY ENTER, all have at least one episode from Shakespeare in a given episode???

And, finally, what is your favorite Shakespeare quote from any of the TREK shows or movies..

Dont know about that, but the first quote that comes to mind is:

'By Any Other Name'

("A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" from Romeo and Juliet)

Mainly because I thought the episode was great.

Memory Alpha has a pretty good list of all Shakespeare references here.

The list confirms that indeed all Trek incarnations had at least one reference to Shakespeare.

My favorite was in the episode about the other gifted DNA people who predict the war is going to be lost I think. Jack, who does a real good Jeff Goldbloom imitation in this episode, says "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown."

Oh how true!!!

odd this should come up, as I watched Conscience of the King yesterday. I like that episode. I think it has one of the more interesting romances for kirk, as he's sort've playing her for information. it's got riley too.

Double Red Alert!
