Don't see Shadowplay mentioned very much if ever, but it's an excellent episode.
RA and the Taya actress both gave phenomenal performances. This plot of if holograms are real and/or important has been rehashed endlessly in Trek, but Shadowplay took that stale old plot and made it amazing due to their very strong acting.
Whilst I find Shadowplay excellent, I find most other Trek episodes that use this concept of 'we must care about holograms!' to be unwatchable drivel, ie: Fair Haven, A Fistful of Datas etc. etc. Although I also love Vic Fontaine because he too was a very well-played and fleshed-out hologram person and the episodes regarding him also used this theme well.
Anyone else appreciate Shadowplay as an amazing episode due to RA and the Taya actress?
