Stars Chloe Grace Moretz about her character assigned to a plane to ferry a secret cargo. Somewhere along the way we get dogfights, explosions and crazy stuff, oh and monsters.

It's always nice when those Hollywood explosions can knock a falling character back into the plane with no real injury. This looks potentially entertaining.

Unrelated to that, the shot of Chloe punching someone in water looks like it's straight out of the live action Ghost in the Shell. Haven't compared the shots directly, but in my brain they look extremely alike.

That's interesting..... Now you make me want to dig that movie out again, didn't care much for the live action version and felt it was too americanized (is that a word?)

Not quite as alike as I recalled (opposite orientation, for one), but I can see why it made me think of it. (At 45 seconds)

It's getting bad reviews because it's probably bad. Absolutely no publicity and then dumped in January. Max Landis hasn't written anything good since Chronicle. I'll check it out because I'm into this kind of stuff, but not hopeful.

I'd forgotten about that movie. I always wished that that was a pure action movie instead of it al being in her head..... That would have been the best action movie with girls, in fact it is the best action movie with girls. Just the twist is stupid.

IGN's posted a rather mixed review. Their critic was a bit wigged out by Max Landis involvement, and thought that the first half went a little overboard with the guys on the plane treating Chloe Grace Moretz badly, but the second half was fun.

It doesn't matter if it was a word before. If it's used by Americans (or even talking about them), then sure, it is now an American word. The more we use it, the more acceptable it will be
