Just for the hell of it, post a SF &F themed pop or rock song and say why you like it perhaps. Why not add a video link if you can find one.

For starters, I give you Dave Edmunds rocking it mightily with "Creature from the Black Lagoon" from the 1979 album Repeat When Necessary.

Got to have something sublime from the master John Cooper Clarke - "I Married a Monster from Outer Space". Classic.

The Game feat. Tyler the Creator & Lil Wayne- Martians vs. Goblins

The lyrics to this song are really amazing in the level of non-sense. They are kind of NSFW so I will leave looking them up as a homework assignment.

Deep Purple - "The Mule" - named for the character in Asimov's Foundation and Empire and Second Foundation who nearly derails Hari Seldon's plan. Great lyrics that capture the essence of the Mule's nature.

No one sees the things you do
Because I stand in front of you
But you drive me all the time
Put the evil in my mind
Used to sing and say my prayers
Live my life without a care
Now I have become a fool
Because I listened to the mule
How can I change when my mind is a friend of a Lucifer hid in the ground
Just another slave for the mule

@Redfern I'll see your Godzilla by BOC and raise you King Kong by The Kinks.
I'll also throw in Supersonic Rocketship by them as well.

Edgar Winter did an entire 1986 album called Mission Earth with music and lyrics by L. Ron Hubbard.
