Yeah thats a title, but what i really want to see is your favourite scanning device/scene from the worlds of sci fi and fantasy. Something that gather information of who or what's being scanned.
It could be a simple tricorder or something like a security scan, an actual probe or it could be a living creature whos soul purpose is to scan an area and report back to someone.

the usual rules; 200x200px size/1MB.
and lets keep it to 3 entry pr person/bird/cat/whatever
