By "What were they thinking?", I mean a design (of a ship, costume, monster, alien, prop, etc.) that's just so utterly stupid/ridiculous/retarded. Perhaps something you think they must have come up with while high.

Peter lost his powers in the Heroes episode "Dying of the Light".

Sheppard stood there and got punched repeatedly by Larrin (an unarmed woman who had taken him prisoner and is considerably smaller than him) in the Stargate: Atlantis episode "Travelers".

While I don't want to derail yet another thread with my hatred of that episode, that's not the case.

Long story short, yes she was hot but she was also an ordinary human. She showed during the episode that she was tough but Sheppard just stood there and took everything she dished out just because she was a girl.

Sheppard acts like an idiot through the entire episode for no apparent reason, despite the fact that Larrin and her people attacked his ship, took him prisoner and tortured him.

Thanks. If the thread is derailed a little, I'll take the blame. Thanks for filling me in. I don't know I guess they softened Sheppard up as it went on. I've talked to amny women who have told me that while its wrong for a guy to hit a girl, if she strikes first, she should expect it right back.

I argued at the time that as a military prisoner it is his duty to try to escape regardless of how hot his captor was.

Even worse is the fact that Atlantis ends up becoming allies with these people. She didn't do anything Koyla didn't do, yet Koyla is his worst enemy.

und the clip on youtube. She hit him like three times. He should have decked her. You're right, he should have tried to escape... espeically if he didn't know anything.

BTW research found that th actress playing this girl was at one tiem a Wonder Woman candidate.
