It's been a few weeks, but on June 20 we "celebrated" World Refugee Day. The quotation marks are because governments and media largely ignored it, unfortunately.

But there have been a lot of people, side-characters, one-off characters and even beloved franchise characters in the world of science fiction and fantasy that were fleeing from war, political prosecution or natural desasters. This contest is about these characters.

As usual, entries must be 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data, or smaller. Also, keep it safe for work.

Well, I'm not really familiar, but here are the two issues I'd decide it on.

First, the nature of the war. If it is a cold war, without actual battles of physical violence, it wouldn't count, it has to be a hot war.

And second, if the characters were at that point soldiers in that war, that would exclude them from being in the category of refugees.

I trust you enough to decide whether your chosen characters meet those conditions.
