Our theme this week is Not Who They Seem. This is going to be a fairly open-ended category. Your entry can be any SF&F character in any medium who is not who they seem to be. This can be for any number of reasons: secret identity, disguise, shapeshifter, undercover... can even be due to the character having amnesia, overwritten personality, telepathic takeover, whatever. You can even enter robots who can transform into cars if you wish.

Standard avatar contest rules apply: image must be no more than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB. All entries must be SFW. Each person may enter up to two avatars. Please identify the subject of your image, and give a brief description as to why they are not who they seem. The contest will be open for about a week.

Have fun! :techman:

I'm a little surprised we've only seen three superheroes so far, they seem like the most obvious choices for this. I didn't think of that before I did Darth Vader, but after that it hit me and it took me a while to decide who to do.

Last call! I'll post the poll a couple of days from now.

Here are my entries:

After the producers of Star Trek Into Darkness spent months denying that Khan was in their movie, and claiming that the antagonist was a new character named John Harrison, John Harrison turned out to be... Khan.
