The contest was open for you, too, you know.

No, seriously and without intended snark, a lot of characters deserving of the non-"super" hero title were left out, but there were also only five active participants in the contest. So for the future, if you see an avatar contest and you feel like there's a specific entry missing, you may consider entering them yourself.
And that goes for all who aren't regular participants. You are not just free to enter, you are more than welcome, because these contests live through participation.


Anyway, somebody better break that threeway tie before the poll closes.

Damn, I was drawing a complete blank on more characters who hadn't been posted yet, and Ripley would have been perfect.

I didn't think of Ripley, but I often have the problem that I have more ideas than I am allowed to post and keep waiting for someone to post them!

My problem is the opposite, I'll know there's tons of characters or whatever that fit the criteria, but the moment I start trying to come up with ones to post, I draw a blank. The only reason I thought of Mad Max and Aragorn for this is because Fury Road has been on IFC a few times recently and the LOTR Extended Editions are sitting on my TV stand right in front of me.
