SF&F Avatar Contest: Didn't Make it Past the Pilot

Ok here's a fun one. As we all know, things tend to change in between a show's pilot episode and its regular production run, so this week's theme will be props, costumes, makeup, characters, hairstyles, or anything you can think of that appeared in a pilot but never showed up again in subsequent episodes!

That counts. Also in regards to characters, I want to limit it to characters who are alive at the end of the pilot and could very well have continued on to the rest of the series. So to use "Where No Man Has Gone Before" for an example, Doctor Piper would count, but Gary Mitchell would not. Recast characters count as well.
