A few alternates...

If anyone was wondering, the one I had thought I was going to enter until I started watching The Expanse on the weekend, was The Martian:

But I had given serious thought to Game of Thrones, but since my first entry was fantasy, I wanted my second to be more science fiction:

(I am surprised no one entered this show, though...)

And the other one I had thought about was one of my favourite classic movies, The Time Machine:

But in the end, I didn't want to split the Wells vote!

Also was kinda surprised no one entered Harry Potter.

(except the alternate ones, that "the time machine" avatar is cool ....Wells was a genius)

Yeah, I won't vote until the missing images are visible again. I've seen 'em before, but it still feels wrong to vote by memory. Better play it by the book.

But in the meantime, I've adapted some more literature into alternative entries (and, yeah, quite a few Conan ones):

It turns out that while postimg.cc doesn't exist as a site to visit, it can be used to make the old PostImages links work. Just replace the old site name in the link with "postimg.cc" and the images will come up.

Just a comment about the way some of the avatar contests seem to be these days:

There's such a thing as too much animation. I can't even make out what some of these images are supposed to be, because nothing stays still long enough.

So I'm not voting. I can't tell what some of these are actually supposed to be, even with the book identified.
