No, this has nothing to do with bad sequels. Well, not directly.

I found this very intelligent web series that focuses on gameplay design while injecting a fair bit of humor. It's not another angry video game reviewer, but instead looks at what works and what doesn't in game design. It's pretty cool. Check it out.

I would recommend him scale back on the yelling, although the yelling at Roll skits are funny.

The screaming does get annoying, but it's worth it for the excellent analysis. He's dead-on with his criticisms on the Metroidvania games and the brilliant tutorials seamlessly integrated into the Mega Man games. It makes you wish Nintendo had seen his Mega Man X video before they started development on Skyward Sword.

Apparently his next video is going to be Link to the Past vs. Ocarina of Time, so I'll update this when those comes out. Hopefully he'll tone the screaming down for that one.
