I thought so too. He comes across as younger and with less gravitas (such as it is) in character, which is appropriate.

Well, that was pretty cool. Fan productions these days get better and better. The teaser has a definitive Space: Above and Beyond/Battlestar Galactica/Starship Troopers feel to it. I'm looking forward to the finished product.

That is funny. I was thinking Starship Troopers meets Alien meets Space Above and Beyond. We were almost in parallel there!

It's actually a professional production, funded by Disney's Studio 9. If it resembles previous sf war movie stuff it's most like "Aliens" but with a big dollop of "Saving Private Ryan."

I've been waiting for this one for a long time.

It's hoped that Stage 9 will release it online in March. Best thing to do is check that site and the Trenches online site over the next few weeks for updates.
