Damn, that's even better than the Disavowed cover. Looking forward to it!

Looks and sounds good. There are so many directions this book can go - I'm looking forward to be surprised.

304 pages? That seems short for a Mack novel, or is that me? Well, as long as it's good, and I highly doubt it won't be. :D :D

It's the first cover out as it will probably be the most exciting novel of the year!

From the comment section of @David Mack 's post about the cover when someone asked about the page count:

    Some other tidbits from there:

Regarding a question if Section 31 will become a regular series (a la DTI):
    Regarding the cover art:

Not sure if #26 is Control, so he is contracted for one or two more ST novels at the moment:

    Wouldn't Discovery be 26 and Titan 27?

Yeah, most likely. I totally forgot that a Titan novel was already announced, so I was figuring 27 could be a previously unannounced novel. (David wasn't obscure there, he was just answering to someone wondering if he is the most prolific ST novelist).

Wow, that is a great cover, and it fits in well with Disavowed. It does seem weird the cover for this was revealed before the other earlier 2017 books, but it's not even up yet on the S&S site, so I guess the cover was released to StarTrek.com and not everywhere at once.

The first were some time ago. They were lame then and only grow more so with each reiteration.

I must confess that I only said that last bit because I couldn't think of any. :alienblush:

On a completely unrelated matter, why is the phrase "Section 31: Control" making me think of John Hurt?

Best guess, by the end of Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy, he was head of the Circus and thus Control.

I`m looking forward to finally reading this. I hope there will be a German version later on. It's likely, because they translate Disavowed. It's only logical to release this, too. :vulcan:

Except in the film he was dead by that point at Gary Oldman was in charge instead.
