We got a release date for the Blu Ray sets today at STLV, November 13th 2018. There's going to be a ton of special features. They didnt say anything about it digitally.

Cool! Guess I'll finally see this thing now (unless the price is too crazy high). CBS All Access was just not gonna happen.

Instant buy for me, but I probably won't watch the show itself, as it's a step down from HDR.

I doubt it. But, if you're in the US, 1080p will be much better than the 720p feed we're getting from CBS All-Access.

Amazon has pre-order pricing at $50.99 (BD) & $41.99 (DVD). That's in BBC range for sure.

Why would people PREFER to pay the equivalent of 4-5 Months worth of CBSAA subscriptions to own the disks rather than subscribe?

I mean, I'll buy the disks because I love the show...but it wouldn't have been my preferred way to see it for the first time.
