Season 7 Antagonists Faceoff

Well, here we go...the final season poll. The winner will join this group in a once-a-week character elimination:

S1: Q
S2: The Borg
S3: Locutus
S4: Admiral Satie
S5: The Devidians
S6: Captain Jellico
-------------------------------
Please vote for 5 in this round.

My votes: Lore, Admirals Pressman and Nechayev, The Duras sisters - Lursa + B'Etor, and The Maquis

Gambit will NOT be split into parts 1+2

Masaka will not be pleased with the results of this poll.

Admiral Pressman, now there was a first-class douche. Jellico gets all the flak, but Pressman was actually a rogue Admiral, operating with some support but without consent/approval. I'm surprised Jellico got Season 6, reviewing the episode he wasn't even really an antagonist, just lacking in charisma.

Actually you know, Ro Laren just makes it under the wire as an antagonist, but I guess she's covered under Maquis. If I'd thought of that I would have voted that way.

Silvia LaForge
Interphasic Organisms
Admiral Pressman
Masaka
Holodeck Malfunctions in "Emergence"

I'll go with Q. He's the best antagonist in whatever season of TNG he's in (Locarno for season 5)

John deLancie forevah!

Ro Laren, like Evek and Tallera, should have had her own category. (It's definitely more significant than Tomalak's cameo this season.)

Anyway, Lore, Tallera, Pressman, and Tomalak.

Talk about your lame bunch of baddies...Ferengi Daimons & adoptive brothers.

Still, I voted.

:bolian:

I realized that she should have been in the season 5 poll, after people started voting.

Arguably, yes. But she's only really an outright adversary in "Pre-emptive Strike", even though, since the episode is told from her point of view, she's really the protagonist (making our heroes the antagonists... care to put the crew of the Enterprise on the poll? ;))

Pressman, Devolved Worf, Tallera, Nechayev and the Maquis.

The Romulan commander from PEGASUS wasn't a choice, even though it pretty implied that he sealed the Enterprise inside that asteroid.

Baran should be a shoe-in, but somehow...he was uninteresting.

Lore - Quite manipulative, thus making a good antagonist. Plus he's Data's brother.
Interphasic organisms - I liked that episode. Nice and weird and creepy.
Skoran - "Thine Own Self" is my second favorite episode.
Holodeck Malfunctions - gotta love those!
Anti-time anomaly - That was all Q's doing, and gave us an interesting glimpse into a potential future for the crew.

Lore, Baran, T'Paal, Pressman, Gul Evek

If I had noticed The Maquis on the poll, I would have voted for them instead of T'Paal.

Tallera
Pressman
Nechayev
Gul Evek
The Anti-Time Anomaly

Though I think Sub Rosa as a whole is the most adverse thing to come out of S7.

The Bajorans in Parallels??? I don't remember what they did... Why is the anti-time anomaly a choice??

The Bajorans were the aggressors in one of the parallel universes instead of the Cardassians. As for the anti-time anomaly...I have no idea.

5? Whoops, only voted for 2 - Lore and Admiral Pressman.

The Maquis in Pre-emptive Strike. Probably the Maquis' best outing in any of the modern Trek series.

Anti-Time Anomaly
Lore
Tallera
Baran

and naturally, Douchebag to end all Douchebaggery: Pressman.
