Season 4 'The Aenar' *Spoilers*

Wow. I just finished this episode and it was amazing.

The entire episode was awesome. It was great to FINALLY see the Romulans. That guy with the ugly chin (sorry, don't know his name) played the part perfectly.

Everything was great about this 3 episode arc.

The actor playing Admiral Valdore? I don't recall him being called that onscreen but apparently that's his name, a past reference to one of the ships in Nemesis.

It's Brian Thompson, who's played a Klingon in TNG and a Jem'hadar during DS9. He's good but maybe miscast as a Romulan (just my opinion mind).

Despite that it's a favourite arc of mine, probably because it's as close to the Romulan War as fans are ever likely to get (onscreen at least ). The cancellation announcement came over the weekend, straight after 'Babel One' aired...

Would have been great if S4 replaced S1...

This has always been one of my favorite episodes and I've always seen it as, pretty much, the Birth of the Federation.
