I’ll believe it when I see it. But if they pulled that and kept it from getting out…that would certainly be a heckuva feat.
Spoiler I don't know about Brooks, but Cirroc Lofton was apparently at the premiere. If there are DS9 cameos and a conspiracy to unravel, it seems like odds are good that ace reporter Jake Sisko could make an appearance.
Whoever we see in season 3, RMB said someone he didn't think he'd ever see again in Trek appears. That doesn't really narrow it down though
Spoiler Ben Sisk would be a heckova surprise but welcome. I'm glad it seems that we are finally getting at least one Niner back on screen in Live Action. Matalas said he had to justify to the higher ups paying for one legacy actor to film I wouldn't be surprised if we see Janeway again - Kate Mulgrew's already 'one of the gang' in NuTrek and she's been referenced as helping Seven get into Starfleet
I think Matalas has said Spoiler Janeway and Chakotay are “property” of Prodigy so they won’t be showing up
A spoiler from RMB about which TNG season has the pivotal tie in with episode 305 "Imposter" that could narrow down some speculation... Spoiler: 1 of 7 possibilities Season 7... So it could be "Lower Decks" (return of Sito Jaxa), "Attached" or "Bloodlines" (Picard / Crusher relationship, having children...), "Pre-emptive Strike" or "Journey's End" (tying in with the Maquis and humans that would have reason to want revenge against the Federation), say "Gambit" (if there's some kind of old archaeology component to the season)... I'm guessing "Descent" with Lore's last appearance and "AGT" are automatic givens...
With the Star Trek Logs on Instagram pointing out that the original Captain of the Titan was Saavik, I wonder if that could be who shows up?!
Think there's a big chance that the Enterprise-G will be revealed in the season finale! https://www.instagram.com/reel/Coh6YkJNuJk/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= Maybe commanded by Captain Annika Hansen?
You mean recasting Saavik? Because Alley is deceased and Curtis no doubt has no interest in reprising that role. Er. you just posted that Instagram yourself. That is in no way 'proof' that we will see the Enterprise-G.
Think it's implied by the reveal that the F gets decommishioned. That aspect of the story only makes sense if you plan to reveal the successor
Never said anything about it being proven. Just said there's a big chance that it'll be happen. All just speculation for now!
I raised that possibility in this thread: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/sta...scussion-thread.301351/page-423#post-14384507 How do you know Robin Curtis has no interest in the role? I realize she left acting long ago -- she's a now realtor in New York state. Sounds like someone who would gladly accept a large check for little work. It could be a quick subspace transmission cameo. No real acting involved. Surely Admiral Saavik is still alive (she'd only be in her mid 150s at this point), and it seems odd that the character has been tied in to the hero ship as the historic captain of the first Titan flagship.
this is my own personal speculation Spoiler We know from various leaks that the Enterprise-D saucer was salvaged and is now in the fleet museum. and that the crew go back aboard the ship at some point during the season. I always assumed they go back to look for something or some other plot device, and their time there would be brief. but I'm starting to wonder if near the end of the season they actually take the ship back out somehow and it ends up being highly involved in the final climax of the show. Its also highly likely that will see the new 1701-G by the end of the series.
I suppose that's possible. S2 and S3 were filmed back to back, and the official start of production for S3 was Sep 2021. Alley was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in early 2022, and probably would have been too sick afterward.
Because despite wishful thinking, retired actors don't just jump at acting possibilities just to get some quick beer money? We would have heard about that. And I'm sure she had better things to do with her time.
