Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

Something's been bugging me. Agnes reminds the Borg Queen, shortly before their fusion into this new character of sorts, that the Queen once loved Seven. But this is the Borg Queen from the aborted Confederation timeline, in which Seven was never Seven.

I guess the explanation is she's referring to the fact that the Borg Queen would be aware of other realities?

Or Agnes was sharing a bit of information to encourage her that change is possible.

It was established when the Queen first appeared that she, like Picard and the others, was aware that the timeline had changed. When she first appears on screen, she refers to Seven by her full Borg title and demands Seven assist her.

This was mentioned earlier in the thread, but we never saw this clip at 1:46 in the gala episode:

There was some speculation that this meant that would be revisiting the gala later on, but that never happened either.

What was happening in this scene? A Men in Black memory wiping after Juratti’s song? Was this removed later for potential copyright reasons, leaving us with the shorter than normal episode and strange time jump intro to pad things out?

Are there any other scenes that never showed up? I seem to recall several released trailers were pulled for unknown reasons. Perhaps to hide more later deleted scenes?

Yeah, I remember things got so bad with NuBSG cutting significant plot developments out of episodes that by the final season, there's something like five episodes that have optional extended editions on the DVD to help you follow the story arc a lot easier.

That's a show that really could have benefitted from what AMC does with the various Walking Dead shows, allowing them to be as long as they need to, even if that means going fifteen minutes past the one hour point. Or streaming, where shows can be as long or short as the writers want them to be.

Is there a version of the clip I can view? I'm in Canada. Thanks.

I don't know if there is another trailer with the same clip but here is a screencap:

The clip shows Picard and Rios raising their hands. It's very brief.

Oh yeah. I remember that, thinking it was a cool looking weapon of some kind.
To me it looks like her transporter from before but I'm not sure why it would be emitting light instead of smoke:

I'm really curious what Rios is supposed to be doing. Picard covers his eyes but Rios is covers his hair???

Maybe he has a wig and was trying to hold it in place as the wind machine was blowing? Picard didn’t need to do this.

Rios actually looks like he is ‘dabbing’, so that could be an explanation too.

My guess is that they added the light in post production and the script was vague about where the light came from e.g. "a bright flash fills the room". Cabrera is covering his eyes as if the light came from above. PatStew is a pro so he has all the angles covered.
