Don’t take it personally

That’s still like 8 years awayI realize that the crew of "Discovery" will eventually use the uniforms of the TOS. Frankly, I think it's a pity. I prefer the "Discovery" uniforms a lot more. In fact, I'm not a fan of the old uniforms from the 1960s series.
The ST09/Into Darkness uniforms with a sewn on collar rather than it be a jersey over a black shirt, with the fabric of the Beyond uniforms would have been perfect.
I doubt it. In Discovery's version of Trek, the yellow/blue/red uniforms Pike's crew are wearing are the TOS uniforms, just like his Enterprise with it's swept-back nacelles is supposed to be the classic series version of the ship.I realize that the crew of "Discovery" will eventually use the uniforms of the TOS. We don’t know that. Considering how often Starfleet changes their uniforms in some eras, they could change again by 2266I doubt it. In Discovery's version of Trek, the yellow/blue/red uniforms Pike's crew are wearing are the TOS uniforms,
It would be incredibly stupid of them to retcon so much (up to and including the design of Trek's most iconic craft) but then end it wearing 1960's costumes. We don’t know that. Considering how often Starfleet changes their uniforms in some eras, they could change again by 2266
I don't have a problem with the overall style of the uniforms, but why do they have to be skintight? Why can't they fit more like regular clothes?
