I just counted and my score was actually 9/11 not 9/10 :techman:
can't wait until the next one!

should have gone with my gut on #27 . . . I knew it was Eddie Jones and remembered him best as the boss in The Invisible Man but I didn't make a guess on that one :(

Oops! That was a typo. I meant to say 9/40. Fixed it now.

For those interested, the most missed were:
10 (that's David Soul in the shower), 23 (the wedding album), 27 (as mentioned above), and 37 (the neon sign for One Eyed Jacks).

The ones most guessed correctly were:
34 (Top Gear---who else would do that to a truck?) and 40 (bones= Bones.) Too big of a clue?

The Bones one was from an episode I'd seen recently, so the details in the news blurb at the bottom pretty much gave that one away.

I'm happy that I got right a couple that I guessed on. Yay me!

Holy shit. I really should have won this. auntiehill knows how embarassing some of my guesses are. And I completely guesesed on Deadwood, Blake's 7, Are You Being Served?, and Malcolm in the Middle.

Seriously, I should have gotten Deep Space Nine (honestly, I'm still blanking on exactly that episode...oh, was it "Past Tense?") and The Invisible Man (I said Lois & Clark simply because I don't remember Eddie Jones wearing a suit in the former). Plus I said The Wild, Wild West, Stargate: Atlantis, and Starkey & Hutch on the wrong ones. :( :o

Wow. I actually was unable to guess a Star Trek screencap. :( I still don't recognize it, but it seems obvious from the primitive (by 24th Century standards) look of it that it's from "Past Tense".

Yeah, I was surprised how many missed DS9---on a Trek bbs, too!

And, yes, it was kind of funny how many correct answers you put down----but for the wrong pictures! Maybe you're psychic, but with dyslexia.

I think the Invisible Man one may have been too hard. Eddie Jones has been in a lot of different things.

Yeah thats Past Tense....I can't believe I missed the Stargate Atlantis one...ugh!

Glad I changed my guess on The Wild,Wild West one.

Woo Hoo! I won!

Congrats, Adm.Bonz.

I missed more than I thought I would have. The Big Valley - I should have known that one, but I couldn't pull it out.

Aw, man! There are a couple in there that I couldn't believe I'd missed. I can't believe I didn't recognize Hawkins' map from Jericho, or the boss dude from The Invisible Man. Maybe it was the quality of the cap, I was thinking it was from some older show.

I recognized the lady in the Buffy cap, I just couldn't remember where I'd seen her.

Oh well. At least I got all of the guesses I did make correct. :techman:

And here I was, thinking, "Gee, I'd better make it hard because the Buffy, Babylon and Trek fans will know every scene by heart!"

OK...note to self: make the next one a little easier.

Worse yet, DS9 is my favorite Trek. :o

Yeah, that's it! :shifty: :shifty:

I think the Invisible Man one may have been too hard. Eddie Jones has been in a lot of different things.
No way that was too hard. My first instinct was The Invisible Man (after Farscape and Battlestar Galactica, The Invisible Man is the best thing that the Sci-Fi Channel has ever made), but like I said I didn't recall his character in suit like that before, but I could imagine Perry White wearing something like that.

And here I was, thinking, "Gee, I'd better make it hard because the Buffy, Babylon and Trek fans will know every scene by heart!"

OK...note to self: make the next one a little easier.
No way! This was perfectly hard. Excellent challenge.

Speaking of which, you should do it more often than a year. Maybe do it monthly but switch it up with movies now and then?

Okay, so I was right about all the ones I thought I was (Buffy, Sliders, Jericho, Sex and the City, Xena, DS9, and That 70s Show) and my first guesses for Farscape and Malcolm in the Middle turned out to be correct (never really watched much of either show, but somehow those images just seemed familiar enough for me to place them). As for the others... I don't think I would've gotten them in a million years.

All in all, a good selection auntiehill. Very challenging. I look forward to the next round (especially since I should actually be able to PM the answers by then).

Well, I will have a lot more time off this Spring than I had anticipated. I'm still employed, but in late April, the home office will close for two or three weeks. So---lots of free time for me, then.

I don't have a movie collection to drawn from, so doing movie caps would be harder for me. Besides, mr. coaster's movie screencap challenge was legen---(wait for it)---DARY, and I could never follow such a class act.

But...if people are really tired of the TV caps, I might consider it.

Aww, shucks! You do flatter me so!

It's just possible I might do another movie challenge sometime soon. I'll have to see if I can dig up the motivation again.
