Scott Bakula doing a play in London

Oz and Bakula? Strange combination. Is Scott trying to break into comedy???

Already a string to his bow. Although he's often the straight man in a duo or trio, trying to keep his dignity in a position some zany character has put him in. Quantum Leap was that. I've never seen him in person, but was laughing through most the live streaming from Comic-Con. The outtakes on Enterprise DVDs are hysterical too... Too bad there were too few opportunities for that humour to be in the episodes. More improvisation should've been allowed or attention paid to the actor's personalities, chemistries together and then written the characters to be like that. I'm pretty sure that's what accounted for the success of other Star Trek shows, the original in particular.

^ Yes, I've noticed that too. Scott has a very good sense of comedy. There were instances of that in Quantum Leap, and I believe his part in Mr. & Mrs. Smith also gave him a comedic outlet. As you say, too bad we never got to see any of it in Enterprise.
