I seriously lost my shit with these shows. Stranger Things was more irritating, but The 4400 was so predictable that I was just calling out plot points just to see about 90% of my predictions come true. ST had worse actors and dialog (I at least kind of felt for some of the time displaced people in The 4400, while I just want everyone in ST to die), so I probably hated it more.
This was just a terrible experience. Quantum Leap is my last lifeline at this point. If its not at least tolerable, then this whole thing will officially be a huge waste of time. To be clear, I blame no one but myself for this. There is a reason I never watched Stranger Things, because (to me) it looked like crap. The 4400 I just never paid attention to, but ST I knew I wasn't going to like. I didn't quite predict that it would be as painful as it ended up being, but it was bad.
But, as bad as these two shows were, it could have been worse. I didn't realize it until I was on Netflix yesterday, but I forgot to preemptively eliminate Sense8. If that had someone gotten onto the poll I probably would have shoved a foot through my TV.
